The South African Satanic Church is built upon five pillars — five domains of divine celebration that form the foundation of our practice. Each pillar represents not a restriction, but an invitation to embrace the fullness of existence.
Life
Life is not a trial to be endured, a test to be passed, or a burden to be born. Life is the fundamental good, the ground of all value, the field in which consciousness plays.
We celebrate life through:
- Vitality practices — health, strength, endurance
- Creativity — art, music, writing
- Risk — stepping beyond safety
- Joy — unapologetic celebration

Love
Love in the Satanic Church is not the weakened sentiment of popular culture, nor the possessive attachment of the insecure. Love is compersion — the joy in another's joy.
We practice love through:
- Polyamory — love without bounds
- Community — tribes and bonds
- Devotion — dedication of self
- Service — love in action
Sex
Sex is the sacrament. It is the ritual through which the divine becomes human and the human becomes divine. It is the union of opposites, the collapse of separation, the direct experience of the Apeiron.
Our approach to sex is:
- Conscious — with full awareness
- Consensual — freely chosen
- Creative — the act of creation
- Transgressive — beyond convention

Nature
We are not separate from nature. We are nature — conscious, self-aware, capable of reflection. The Satanic Church teaches reverence for the natural world as the direct expression of the divine.
Our relation with nature includes:
- Ecological responsibility
- Seasonal observance
- Animal kinship
- Elemental practice
Power
Power is the capacity to cause change. It is neither good nor evil — it is the fundamental energy of existence. The Satanic Church teaches the cultivation of power in four domains.
The Four Domains of Power:
- Spiritual Power — consciousness transformation
- Intellectual Power — truth from falsehood
- Physical Power — strength and endurance
- Subtle Power — energy and influence
