The Misconceptions
Satanism is perhaps the most misunderstood philosophy on Earth. The popular imagination has constructed a caricature that bears little resemblance to what we actually believe.
Let us be clear.
We Are Not Evil
We do not worship evil. We do not seek to harm others for pleasure. We do not sacrifice children or animals. These are projections — the shadow that conventional religion projects onto those who refuse to submit.
Evil is a concept invented by those who cannot tolerate autonomy. The accusation of “evil” is often a confession of fear.
We Are Not Anti-Religion
We are not against religion. We are past religion — having moved beyond the need for external authority, external salvation, external guidance.
Religion, for us, is not a crutch. It is a map, to be used and discarded as needed.
We Are Not Satanists (In the Popular Sense)
When most people hear “Satanist,” they think of:
- The devil worshipper
- The opposite of Christianity
- The seeker of evil
We are none of these. Satan, for us, is a symbol — of rebellion, of individual sovereignty, of the refusal to submit to imposed authority.
We Are Not a Cult
We do notisolate members from family. We do not demand all your money. We do not break down your identity to rebuild it in our image.
We offer a path. You walk it. You remain sovereign.
We Do Not Believe in Evil (As Opposed to Good)
The dualism of good versus evil is a trap. It keeps you fighting a war that has no end, forever opposing one thing with another.
We recognise that all things contain their opposite. Light needs shadow. Creation needs destruction. Life needs death.
We Do Not Seek to Convert
We are not interested in converts. We are interested in those who are already seeking — those who have outgrown conventional religion, those who sense that there is more to existence than what they were taught.
We do not knock on doors. We do not recruit. If you find your way here, you were already walking the path.
What We Are
We are a community of sovereign individuals.
We are seekers of truth in a world of comfortable lies.
We are builders of temples, creators of art, cultivators of power.
We are the integration of shadow.
We are the embrace of the Apeiron.
We are what you might become — if you have the courage to walk through the darkness.
